Matching Gifts

Many employers match donations to charitable organizations for their employees, retirees and family members. Employer matching gifts can greatly magnify the benefit of your donation to Classics for Kids Foundation. To initiate a matching gift, check with the personnel or human resources department at your employer. If the employer uses a Matching Gift Form, please complete and send it to Classics For Kids Foundation.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities or Other Assets

Why Give?

There is much evidence that playing a stringed instrument can transform a child, giving them experiences and skills that can help make them more successful in life; better communication skills, academics and behavior alongside the lifelong joy of making and appreciation of music.

We support strings programs serving kids in all 50 states of America through our matching grants for beautiful new instruments. Quality instruments inspire kids to practice more, stay involved with their strings programs, and reap the many life benefits that this exposure brings. Teachers benefit not only from excited, engaged kids, but also through instruments that are easier to work with and maintain, improving both the classroom environment and the educational experience for their students. At-risk programs, public, private and charter schools, community music schools, university and symphony orchestra-based community programs, and youth orchestras are just some of our partners.
